network connection keeps dropping

My connection keeps dropping within 10 minutes of gaming, and I can't figure out how to fix it. I've tried both Linksys and Dlink cards, and even have clocked my system back to stock speeds, but to no avail. I have a Linksys router, but I know this isn't the problem cause it dosen't happen with another computer on the network. I installed WinXp about 3 weeks ago, and all was working fine until last weekend, when this crap started happening. Any ideas? The rest of my specs are in my sig, but its especially strange considering it just appeared without a hardware change or anything like that. Thanks in advance.

Try starting a "ping -t (ip addr of router)" in the background. If it stops pinging, you've got a protocol or physical issue. If it stays pining, something else is wrong.. A good baseline to start with.
