Network Cables (Which Ones)

I'm setting up a home network (1 room) I have a Cable Modem to a Linksys router to the 2 computers...there are CAT 5 CAT 5e and CAT 6 cables...the CAT 6 are at 500Mhz while the others are 350MHz...I will be ordering 2 cords (i have one for the modem) one wire can be 7 feet and the other is a 25 ft for across the room. Which cables do I need?

Depends on what speed network you are setting up. If this is 10 mbit (which I doubt), then you only need CAT 5; if this is 10/100 mbit, then you should get CAT 5e; or if this is 10/100/1000 mbit, then you should get CAT 6. Hope this helps.
