Network cable connector

Is there any simple conntector to join two network cables (straight through or cross over)? I need to move my computer and need a longer LAN cable. I can buy a 50 ft cable or join the two 25 feet cables that I already have. Is there a way to join them?

Just buy a barrel connector - they are very cheap, and simply act as two female ports linked directly together.
Worth noting however: If you join 2 straight-through cable, you get a big straight through cable.
1 normal + 1 crossover = big crossover
2 crossovers = 1 normal.

Just to make sure you dont chain 2 crossovers together, and wonder why it doesnt work 😉

Any computer store would carry them? Thanks for the suggestions. Hahahahaha. I am Aerospace engineer. that was not very difficult to figure out!!!! *LOL* But i like the way you explained the connection. Thanks again.
