Canon imageCLASS MF4370dn for $120 at Newegg, $2 shipping. Use promo code EMCKHKG63, expires Feb 9.

I don't usually post Newegg advertise specials, but I work at home and this printer has made my work easier! Best printer I've ever used at home :awe:
-Duplex printing
-Network scanning (Get driver for this from Canon's site)
-Very fast warmup. It takes about 3 seconds for the printer to wake up from sleep mode and start
printing.
-This printer does not cause my lights to dim, or the UPS to beep when printing. My previous HP and Samsung printers had that problem, probably because they consumed more electricity?

-Bad points: Large footprint, clunky scanning software, not wireless.

right! I've got a perfectly good Canon MFC that does all I need it to. But I would love the multi-page loading for copying (damn insurance paperwork) and I would love to not have to buy ink every 6 months cause the stuff dries up...

teh only printer i have is a old injet. I just got the same printer minus the network ability but my wife took it when she moved out. I gotta say we paid a lot more then 114.

144-30+2 for shipping. wow.

wow not bad at all! Would have jumped on it had I not already got my BROTHER laser wireless printer

Nice. Just ordered one. Applied a NE $15 promo gift card from another deal to get it down to $102. Thanks OP.

I bought this last time it was on sale an Amazon. Excellent printer + good price.

Please note that AFAIK, 600dpi high quality scanning can only be done through USB scanning mode (direct connection to the computer) - network scanning is limited to 300dpi, and is difficult to get working on OS X.

i purchased the 4350d over the summer. it was a great printer but my wife took when we split.

im really considering this. for $120 its a great printer. though i don't need network ability but its nice to have.

Doesn't wireless/Ethernet provide larger bandwidth than USB?

Does anyone know if this will scan and copy legal size? I couldn't get the info from the Newegg site.
Yes, it will handle legal size, but you need to use the document feeder because the flatbed (platen) is only letter-sized.

I think if you use a laptop around your house, then the network function is nice because you can print while surfing from . . . the bathroom, for example. BTW, sorry to hear about the wife. Strange topic to encounter in the Hot Deal forum.

I also want to point out:
-This printer does not cause my lights to dim, or the UPS to beep when printing. My previous HP and Samsung printers had that problem, probably because they consumed more electricity?
-Not a wireless unit.

i don't know..i have spent time in the bathroom and never thought damn wish i had a wireless printer to print this NOW!

..

=)

I have this all in one printer, I paid $175 for it. overall, it's a good all in one printer, I have it hooked up via network printing, and I have to reinstall the driver after a long period of inactivity, as if the network doesn't detect the printer is there anymore. The last firmware was supposed to fix this issue, but obviously it didn't. And the starter toner suck, you will get a low toner warning after about 100pages.

weird. as i said we got the same printer without the networking. last i checked we were on page 450 and no warning. Since the starter cartridge is rated at 1000 pages it shouldn't of warned at 100.

anyway i pulled the trigger. got one on the way

It could be an issue with the printer's IP address. I found out that if I disconnected the ethernet cable, my router would give the printer's IP address to another machine on the network. So when I re-connect the ethernet cable, the printer now has a new IP address that doesn't match my computers' printer settings. I think a good solution would be to reserve the printer's IP address in the router so that it won't be given to anything else.

Toner: Newegg and Amazon sells generic toner. Works well for me!
