Netscape has taken over my system...

Every program I use now launches Netscape instead of IE and some programs now claim to be unable to connect to the internet. WTF?
 
Sounds like Netscape has elected to be your default browser. If you insist on using IE just launch it, it will give you the message like "IE is not your default browser, would you like to set it as default?" Just choose "yes" and you should be good to go.
