Hi all,

I'm using IE 6 for my browser but I use Netscape communicator for my email program.

When I click on links in emailsl it makes the page come up in the Netscape browser and
I would like for the link to open in IE.

Anyone have any thoughts on how I can make the Netscape email program open email links with IE?

Thanks,
Jim

You could try switching to Thunderbird, the stand-alone version of Netscape's email program. That will open up links in whatever your default browser is.

In Netscape, go to "Preferences", "Advanced", "System" and then uncheck boxes as applicable.

I'm using Netscape Communicator 4.79 and it doesn't have a "system" under the preferences/advanced
heading. Any other ideas?

in Mozilla Mail, I have all applicable boxes unchecked and it still does it. I don't think there's a way to change it, aside from the thunderbird advice.

Do you have any useful information or just adding to your post count? :)

Unfortunately, I'm not sure there are that many people around here that still use 4.7 to help you.

Maybe not, it's a problem I've been dealing with and will continue to deal with unless I get a
good tip!
