Netscape causes error every time??

I have a friend that is using Netscape Navigator (4.7 I think..) and every time he closes the program he gets an illegal operation box that he must close before the program totally shuts down. It's not that big a deal because it comes after all the surfing and such, but, because of the illegal op it can't save any new settings like homepage or bookmarks. We have uninstalled it and tried re-installing the program but that doesn't help. Has anybody had a similar problem or know of a patch or something that can help?
 
That's what I did too. 🙂 I don't like to use I.E. just because of the Microsoft political thing but right now it seems as though it's more stable than Netscape. (which I used to use exclusively. ;(
