Neti Pots....Anyone use(d) them?

Anyone here use a neti pot? I've seen them online and wondered if they really work like they say.

Yes While I lived in TN and my allergies were going nuts my neti pot did more than all the drugs I was on.

Just make sure you get a plastic one and not the clay ones. Take you time and ensure you learn to use it right. Also the use of sea salt is recomended over anything else.

I dont use the Neti Pot, but I do use a saline sinus flush which does the same thing. Works great. I agree with Darkstar that it does more to clear the allergies than meds.

hmmm...maybe I'll have to try this. Does it help with clearing you sinuses deep down or just your nostrils?

This is what I use: Neilmed Sinus Rinse

In my experience, yes it will clear up your sinuses really well. Use twice a day for 3-5 days and you will see a significant difference. It is not painful or uncomfortable to use, just a little strange at first.
