netgrear switch gets warm

Im using an 8port netgear switch, FS108

Is it normal for these things to get kind of warm?

Absolutely. The house's gateway gets very warm to the touch.

yeah networking stuff gets quite warmer my wireless router gets hot... and my DSL modem gets pretty warm too.

My Gigabit switch gets VERY hot. I can't cover it or stack anything on it or it overheats.
