Now the netgear one sells for something like $120 (best deal i have found) vs. Dlink one that is available for around $60. I was wondering why would Netgear be so much more expensive?
It sucks. Network traffic is slower than my prior linksys router. (Nothing changed, except routers.)
Anyhow, their configuration options are more advanced than my old linksys router, which I was pleased about. However, if I had to do it I'd get the linksys.

Price differences doe not reflect Technological Differences in the Entry level Network Hardware (as well as in most of the computer business). Log to Price Watch and see many products can be offerd for (example) $50 on one site and $100 or more for the same product on an other site.
Performance wise they seem to be the same.
Durability wise? It is too soon to know.
I would buy the D-Link unwrap it carefully and try it immediately.
