Netgear Router Problem

I purchased the Netgear MR814v2 router. The PC is working perfectly, while on my laptop i'm experienced some difficulties. I'm getting 40% packet loss on ping times, eventhough I have excellent signal strength with 1 mbp connection. Any ideas of how to fix this?

Hey there,

when you pinged the labtop you did it from the PC, or did you run a ping test from the labtop to the
outside ?? Sounds like a configuration issue with the labtop ??
What type of NIC ?? And how do you have it configured ??
