Netgear CG814WG and Comcast

I have this modem/router combo and frankly, it sucks ass. Gives me all types of connection issues in half the online games I play. Apparently there's a way to bring up an advanced options tab with access to the hardware firewall features by logging in as superuser/password, but that's not working so I'm assuming Comcast uses a different username/password than Time Warner. Anybody happen to know what I'm looking for?
