Netgear Cable Modem

I want to buy a cable modem to avoid paying the ISP a monthly fee for it.

While I believe the Motorola SB5100 is the safest bet, I figure it wont hurt to have another Netgear product to keep my 108 mbps wireless router company.

The question is, does Netgear even make cable modems? I cant seem to find any - there only seem to be DSL modems out there.

And if Netgear does not make cable modems, could anyone please recommend what I could consider.

I would recommend the SB5100. As far as your present netgear 108mbps router, having a different model cable modem won't make a bit of difference.
