Netflix

Sure, worked like a charm if you have alot of time to get your money's worth. I got 12 dvd's a month in my 2 month membership.

$21 something a month (silly taxes) .. Spent about $43 .. that comes out to $1.80 a rental.

Of course I got nothing done for 2 months of nights in a row, its your call.

sounds good to me but you'd hafta watch a few movies per month to make it worth it. my local blockbuster charges $3 per movie - so about 7 movies per month - but then the convience of not having to do anything (go to store, etc), maybe 5 movies per month. 30 days/5 movies = Would you watch one every 6 days? 🙂

netflix sucks! i had it for a while. too lazy to get into it. basically new movies are never available. they lie about when they ship them out. takes forever to get new movies. movies are sometimes scratched. basically if you get netflix you can assumme you will never be able to rent new movies until way after they're released. they don't buy enough movies for their subscribers. go for the $20 deal at blockbuster instead. if you get a scratched movie, free rental at blockbuster, scratched movie at netflix, hey guess what? no credit, you send it back they send you another one, just like every other movie.

wait til you are on a break then sign for a month or 2
cuz if you keep the membership... sooner or later you will run out of things to watch...
that happened to me... i signed for 1 free month and then cancelled.
and i don't like to wait for the DVD to arrive... usually takes 5 day approx.

i dont know of a $20 deal at blockbuster, but right now they have a 30 movies in 30 days for $30 per month - but you only get the standard rental period

$20 blockbuster = one DVD rental per night for a month. it's kind of a pain unless you pass by a blockbuster everyday to work or something.

At some blockbusters, you can pay $20 to get 30 rentals for 30 days. The problem is they get you on late fees since you lose track. You can only check out one per day, too. So if you are late on just one movie then you spend more than netflix. Plus you really have to keep a calendar on when stuff goes back or they rape you there.

i love netflix if there were just enough time to watch all the movies, i live like 15miles from em so the turnover from when i send back/receive another is around 3 days, very quick!

my only problem with them is whats available. allot of damn titles are never around when they come up and are long waits even like 4 months after release. I really have to wonder how many damn copies of things they get and if they couldn't add a few more in it sucks. I have been using them for like 8 months now only because I don't go to video stores locally cause Im a hermit and the cost isn't that bad. since im in ca. they usually get and process my returns and ship out new ones in 3 days. I still have 100 plus movies in my que but could see it getting thin in a couple months since I get 4 at a time. If that happens I'll just have to see about how their damn que will work but it don't look good. kind of pisses me off since Ive had some movies up top for months.

its good, just gotta learn the system😛 keep dvds with short-long wait at the top of your queue at all times😛 learn to fill your queue and u'll be fine. good if you like anime/indepenedent films/foreign films as well as normal blockbusters. ihave a very large queue🙂 blockbbuster would be good if they had a good selection, which they dont'.

I have been using netflix for well over a year and have no complaints. I have never waited more then a day or to for a movie that wasn't available, and not having a due date is great. Considering movies at blockbuster are well over $3 per movie you really don't have to watch many per month to make it pay off, especailly if you factor in the average late fees the average person accumulates.

Their selection of anime is ok for older stuff, but highly lacking for new stuff. THey only have Kenshin 1-4, and they only have Evangelion 1-3.

Luckily my local home theater store rents a lot of anime. They have a lot of new stuff, newest kenshin disk, and the first 2 robotech DVD's already.
