SAN FRANCISCO - Girding for a potential threat from Apple, online DVD rental service Netflix is lifting its limits on how long most subscribers can watch movies and television shows over high-speed Internet connections.

Apparently all subscribers except those that get 2-per-month ($4.99) will have no hourly limits anymore and can stream as much as they want. Starts tomorrow (1/14).

O.K. I signed up for 8.99 a month and decided to watch Pink Floyd's The Wall. I am very impressed. Well worth it

I tried to set this up on my sister's computer and it plays but the hue is completely off. Flesh tones are green!! WTF? Has anyone else encountered this? :|

I tried installing this on my Vista computer and am getting this:

What a piece of shit.

How does this work if you watch a TV show? When you rent a DVD from them, you usually get a disk containing 5 or so episodes. How does that end up working out for online streaming?

Think of the TV series section, and the old/b rated movie section, then reduce the selection by 3/4's and you'll have it about right.

Oops, I'm a Netflix stockholder, it's the best thing since sliced bread dude, sign up :)

If you're really interested, it's free for a couple of weeks, sign up & cancel if you don't like it.

I have a grandfathered BB online account, unlimited rentals by mail, unlimited returns to the store, and 2 free game movie rentals/month.

If they cut back or raise the fees again, I'm jumping to Netflix...

Sorry man, I got that thanks to a WMP11 update. How's your tv connected ? Netflix online doesn't like that my tv is connected via component cables and gives that error. Resetting DRM didn't help me.
