Netflix/New Xbox Experience Survey

Just for fun. Saw some people mention signing up for Netflix and/or Live Gold and just wondering what the numbers look like.

For those that don't know, you can get Netflix with streaming support for as low as $8.99 a month (1 DVD at a time) to $16.99 (3 DVDs at a time). You can get 13 months of Live Gold for under $40.

I think netfllix will be awesome on the xbox 360, especially since i heard you can watch movies with your friends online

Actually, that part of the Netflix addition has been cut from the release. They're hoping for a future update.

maybe it will come out in the spring update then...I hope

Xbox people are lucky because they will be able to watch Netflix's first high definition streamable contents.

they got me. I had Netflix but not a gold account. Ordered a 13 month card last night. The Netflix HD streaming is worth it alone.

I have Live and will probably subscribe to Netflix when this launches. I haven't turned on the 360 in awhile so if it's already launched... yeah. 😉

Same but different. 😛

I have Live Gold, but no Netflix. Will have Netflix as soon as I figure out which plan I want, which the last time I looked, I had a hard time finding their plans. All they wanted to sell me was the free trial.

OK, I take it this functionality already exists? If I'm streaming HD/SD movies from Netflix just how quickly am I going to be hearing from my friendly neighborhood Comcast policeman? 🙂

It's coming as part of "The New Xbox Experience" on Nov 19th.

I just signed up for Netflix yesterday since I already had Live Gold. I've been wanting to get it for a while and since its cold out now, its a good time for movies.

My plan is to wait until the day of/before NXE comes out and sign up for Netflix's free trial then. If things work swimmingly, I will be canceling my Blockbuster Online account.

I've got like 300 items queued up in my Netflix streaming queue, and a lot of them are TV series. Yeah, I'm all over this.

Voted have/have, but we're planning on canceling netflix this week unfortunately, just in time to miss everything.

I voted the first one, but I thought it said have Live, no Netflix, will not subscribe.

That option isn't there.

I'll wait and see what kind of quality it is, but generally I'd rather just download the movie off bittorrent and stream it to my 360.

man. im excited about this but im worried about the recent things i've read about netflix/ms requiring hdcp in order to stream the content. that would f-ing blow seeing as i dont have an hdmi xbox

One of my main concerns with something like this will be if the ISP's ever start a tier level pricing. I'm sure the data usage streaming media like this will be rather high.

Debunked.
