Netflix is really hosed

Last night I tried to get to www.netflix.com and got a page saying they were having technical difficulties. Today I can't even get that, it's completely dead in the water. At least one article says that it is available in some part of the country, so maybe it is working for some people, but not me.

EDIT: Figures as soon as I post this, it comes up, but response seems quite slow.
 
Where does the saying hosed come from?

I can understand if you point a hose at your computer it would definitely be hosed! :laugh:

Good question, no idea. I found one reference that said it was derived from the "taking a drink from the fire hose" expression.
 
It went down at about 11:45PM last night. I was using playon to stream from netflix, then when I clicked the next thing in my list it said password not accepted. went to the site and it was down.It took a couple hours before it would even let me use something like playon to watch instantly.
 
Hmmm I suspended my membership on July 1... they must be hurting financially now and can't keep the utility bills paid 😛
