oh yeah? It's already there. You either keep paying, or you can cancel. You are free to do whatever you want. Either you think the service is worth the fee, or you don't. I wish people would stop complaining and make their decision. A quick "well this sucks" would suffice just fine, but complaint after complaint is useless

keep chuggin do ya.

Oh no! I can't get away with letting a bunch of people use a service they aren't paying for!

WHATEVER SHALL I DO

You must be an fing douche bag lawyer. Using your logic, if I have company over at my house they cannot watch my televison because they aren't paying for my programing.

STFU!!

Are you retarded? If you have company over at your house they can all watch the ONE netflix stream on your television! What they can't do is go home and watch that same netflix stream on all their televisions using your account.

Not all of us waste money on DirectTV and cable. This will hurt me since I have Netflix going on the Wii and the computers at the same time. I don't get their DVDs so I guess I only get 1 stream.

I'm waiting to see how Blockbusters streaming service comes out and might switch if its better. I guess they are the reason for Starz! leaving Netflix.

wow you sound like a little chihuahua or pomeranian that just won't stfu.

why are you so hostile? you're not upset that I told you the obvious fact that you either have to pay or cancel, are you? is it that I said people should stop complaining? now you're complaining about me stating the facts and my attempt to bring some sanity to the thread.

Wow, they are still planning on releasing it? I saw the box for it a few years ago and when I asked the manager at our local BB store recently she looked at me like she didn't even know what the word streaming meant. I just figured they gave up on it.

A lot of people pissed because they were exploiting a company and now it's the company's fault that they're closing the exploit.

Seems obvious.

Why would you give your netflix account to your company? Are you being dishonest?

My point was that if my wife is watching something gay on Netflix in the living room. I should be able to log into my xbox in the other room with our shared Netflix account and watch something different.

Can't you increase the number of simultaneous streams by upgrading from the 1-DVD plan to the 2-DVD plan? I thought that was how it worked.

Keep in mind your saying that to one of the biggest flea-tards on this forum. 😉

jjsole - blah blah blah

slayer202 - well, blah bleh blah bleh

jjsole - omg why is someone responding to my anonymous internet post and countering what I am saying! MOMMY!!!! oh I know what to do, mommy always said to just pretend the other person is trolling! that will make me feel better!

yeah, I'm the "flea tard." Grow up for christ's sake

It's in the license to allow multiple people to watch the content in a private setting. However you're not allowed to play netflix movies on a series of TVs in your restaurant or bar.

And I agree that you should be able to watch multiple streams from the same account. I'd say $9.99 a month for each additional stream would be fair, just like on a cell phone family plan.

From what people are saying, you can add an additional dvd to allow an extra stream. Would be cheaper than 9.99

UPDATE: Netflix has clarified and said that all accounts can support at least two concurrent streams. The users who saw/heard that they could only have one stream were experiencing an error which Netflix is fixing.
gfdsg

I changed to the single DVD option. There really wasn't anything I wanted to see on streaming. I actually found it pretty embarasing that I could watch a 7+ year old movie on cable TV but couldn't find it in the streaming "library". More like streaming "Magazine Rack". With the movie industry wanting more money I only see the selection dwindling, add on single stream only and it's a losing game.

I'm sure the current streaming setup works for some, but to really take the market they need to add to their library and increase streaming options. Unfortunately to do this, the price will at least double. I think I'd be a buyer at $19.99 all you can eat movies (new release delay is fine), television (1 week release delay?), and maybe an audio option of some kind.

My opinion.

Just cancelled my netflix prior to the price increase. I was going to resubscribe.. but not now. I only have streaming to one HDTV.. the rest of the streams go to my kids Ipods... that can't be too much bandwidth.

over-the-air antenna here I come... until congress gets paid off to shut down those airwaves.
