Well, for the past few months, we've been using NetFlix here. I have to say the selection is great, but i'm disappointed in the delivery times (although I am on the west coast).

We have the $19.95 a month program ,a nd we can watch about 6 DVD's if we watch them the day we get them (we don't), and return them the next day(we don't). Thta being said, we get about 4 a month.

I really like the "Keep it as long as you want" part of it....we've probably paid at least $20 in late fees because I can never remember to return the DVD's to CrapBluster in time.

Ne1 else tried it? Like it or hate it?

they suck. they always delayed shipping movies for at least 6 days after the recieved my returned ones. they never had anything new in stock either, and 3 times the envelopes came with nothing in them. needless to say i quit.

I almost joined them but I heard that its very hard getting the new releases that everyone wants. Also $20/month means I need to watch 6-7 movies/month to break even. I never watch more than one a week...its true my local store I go to has a crap selection, but I can at least rent movies for $3/pop and reserve new ones without a problem, so I never really bothered.

I currently use them, & have liked it thus far. I'm falling behind on my DVD watching, though, I've had Jurassic Park, Lost World, & Batman for a couple weeks now, & I've rented from Blockbuster in that time.

I should probably cancel.

We have netflix, and i am generally pleased with thier service. They have a great number of movies (like anime) that can't be found BallBuster. We don't generally watch enough movies to make it financially advantageous, but its worth it to not have to deal with lame (and $$$, fk u B.B.) late fees and searching in vid stores.

I used netflix for 8 months or so and watched a lot of movies. The selection is great and the quality of the disc is generally good.

yeah but its only $20 for 30 DVD's.

$30 for 30 new release tapes (which is weird, cuz tapes suck)

I have been using Netflix for a while and they are pretty good. I live close to them so it usually doesn't take more than 1-2 days transit time. Great selection, but they are kinda slow on new releases.

I don't have a lot of time to watch the movies when I get them, so I usually end up ripping them and returning the DVDs back immediately and watching the ripped copies later.

However now I just don't care anymore. I watch perhaps one movie a week or two, so I've cancelled my NetFlix subscription after 2 months of being subscribed but not really sending back / getting any new DVDs.

I am using Netflix and really love it. Delivery times are about 3-4 days because I am in NYC but I really like the service.

not that weird, because it's not just tapes. that card lets you rent vhs, dvd, and games.

THERE IS A ANOTHER PRICING PLAN FOR NETFLIX FOR $14/MONTH WHERE YOU CAN HAVE 2 DVDS OUT AT A TIME

Sorry, just wanted to make sure everyone noticed...I am not a member of Netflix, but I might sign up because of the cheaper $14/month plan.

The fact that it took forever to get DVDs kinda bugs me. Sometimes you just want to rent something on impulse which Netflix can't satisfy.
