The Blockbuster/Wal-Mart/Netflix war is heating up!!

I've had Netflix for about a year, and have had Blockbuster for about 2 weeks and both so far have had great service. Both have been fast with delivery. 2 days after signing up with Blockbuster my new selections had already arrived. Only late last year and early this year, have I had trouble with Netflix. Otherwise it's been great.

was going through to look at my account options.. said if I upgraded now to a higher plan, I would get that plan FREEE for the rest of the trial period... upgraded from frr 3 @ one to 35.99 6@ once.

When trial period's over, i'm gonna drop back down to 3@once.

arrrgh matey. 1 out at a time isn't so great, but you can at least get something new, unlike hollywood's 3 out but no really new stuff. hollywood is 10 bucks a month for the first 3 months though so can't beat that

depending on your area blockbuster has 1 out @ at time for 9.99, 2 for 19.99 and 3 for 29.99.

No restrictions on what you get well except games. new, old, vhs doesn't matter.

I've been averaging 6-9 movies per day for the past 2 months on Hollywood Video's MVP Pass ($10mo). If you don't mind waiting a few weeks for new releases it's really quite a good deal.

I also have 8 at a time with Netflix, but thanks to HV I'm down to 430 movies on the netflix queue. All this burning is burning me out!

i'm guessing you are one of those people that spend more time looking for/burning/sorting, etc movies than you do watching them. sad.

So do i. :(

Oh well, 2 weeks free is still free. I'm cancelling BB online next week because there's almost nothing left that I want to rent. The several "Very Long Wait" and "Long Wait" movies in my BB queue are all available now on NetFlix. I'll do six weeks of netflix, but i'm getting sick of watching so many movies.
