I'm finally getting around to getting a netbook. As I researched I kept running into issues of the netbook being too wimpy or having too short of a battery life. I could never find one that did both.
I finally stumbled on the Acer Aspire TimelineX AS1830T-3927. This thing's got an i3 processor and still is rated for 6 to 8 hours of life. It seems to be the best of both worlds. Of course there is the $500+ price tag to consider.
Before the TimelineX I had been looking at the following:
Lenovo U150
Lenovo ThinkPad X100E
Lenovo IdeaPad S12
Hewlett Packard - HP Pavilion dm1z
ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE
ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1215N
...but none of these had decent power, 5+ hours of battery life and HDMI (something else I also wanted).
Are there any other netbook/small laptops that I'm missing or is the Acer TimelineX AS1830T my best bet?
Thanks
