netbook CPU - can I speed it up? out of spec, doesn't matter

I want to speed up this netbook's CPU any way possible, even if it means possibly damaging it to the point of failure. I want to do thisfor fun, so don't suggest other things like "get a better computer" or "get an SSD" etc., it's missing the point.

AMD C-60 is the CPU model.

How can I possibly go about doing this, if it's at all possible? Basically, I figure the best possible thing is to lock it in Turbo mode (1.33 GHz). I don't really know how to do this though.

Bah, let this thread die. I used the utility and it's already running mostly at 1.33GHz through Windows settings alone.

Unless someone knows a way to literally kick this thing into 2GHz+ through multipliers or whatnot, until it fries itself.

^ the most info you'll get on this chip.

with this you can underclock the apu but no overclock.

Stuck with Brazos? Join the club. I've got a C-60 Netbook (Acer Aspire One 722). It's slightly slow. Add an SSD, it might help, a little bit.

If you replace Windows 7 with MS-DOS, your boot up times will be 0 seconds.

Everything should run fast in it too, even with PowerNow! disabled in BIOS. 🙂
