Does your network only have internet sharing and not file sharing or something? Not sure why you'd have to use a floppy. What OSs do you have?

First make sure that you have a valid sharing setting on both computers.

AanadTech - FAQ. Networking and sharing between computers.

The simple way is to copy the file to the computer with PowerPoint, through the Network.
The Network way. You can use the Network to map a Drive.

Mapping creates a setting that adds the Hard Drive from one computer as an available drive to the other computer.

Invoke Windows help, look for mapping; it will explain how to map in your OS.

After Mapping the Hard Drive from the Internet computer, would be a selection in PowerPoint on the front computer when you click on the Open File Menu.
