Net boot (floppy) NFS linux workstations, any hints?

Hey all, I was thinking of creating some way to expand the linux network that I manage. One idea I had was to have some number of flexible netboot workstations. If I could just create a bootdisk that would allow mounting and booting from an NFS volume that would allow me to throw in new nodes as necessary without the overhead of configuring each one individually.

So, I started to look for info. I found some HOWTOs on NFSroot, but these were about 5 years old and seemed to be kind of dated. Does anyone have any hints? I am currently using a centralized server with many of the specialized apps and all of the user accounts on it, which are shared via NFS. So, much of it is in place, it would just be so nice to grab a machine that wasn't being used (or temporarily grab a Windows box), pop in a floppy, and have another workstation online as fast as it could boot.

Is this possible? Is it more work that I am imagining?

Thanks all!

That netboot howto is probably your best bet. I haven't done it myself yet, but I've looked into it, and that howto was the best resource I found.
