Nero / XP / Compatability

I am using nero (5590) on my Xp system with In Cd

I am finding that my other W98SE system will not read the discs produced.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem please.

I had a similar problem to you where I could burn and read CD-RW on my XP PC,but when I put them in my 98 PC,my Pioneer DVD could not read them,I went to Pioneer`s website and flashed my DVD drive with the latest firmware update and it fixed my problem,so check you have the latest firmware for your drive.

The DVD is new and i thought it might be something to do with creating with InCd and trying to open on a system without nero

make sure DMA is enabled on both drives if supported (on both oses).

That would have NOTHING to do with his current problem.

Make sure the disks you made closed the session or disk.

actually Codewiz, i respectfully say that while the help offered by my suggestion might have been remote, it was certainly a genuine offer and came from personal experience (tho maybe not with this specific situation).
