Nero wont finalize

I have been using nero for a while now and all of a sudden Im seeing odd behaviors in it. I was having trouble w/ Nero in XP, so I got the newest version of it, and everything seesms to burn fine, except for one thing...the CD wont finalize. For example, if I make an audio CD, it burns and then I put it in my CD player and it says "Not Finalized". Why wont the disk finalize? When I look at the burn options right before I burn, the finalize CD option is checked and grey-ed out. what gives? Also, I noticed that whenever I burn it asks me where I want to save the image file to. Why is that? Please help.

That sounds like a software problem in Nero. Might be worth an uninstall and reinstall.
