Nero with Zip drive problems....

What I have:
IWILL KK266-R
Sanyo 24x CD-RW
Delta 52x cd-rom
2x256 meg Crucial SDRAM

What's wrong:
When I have the zip drive connected as a slave on the primary Nero takes forever to load. I double click and wait and wait and wait. For the longest time I thought I had a bad install or Nero. This was on a PERFECT install on Windows Me. I unhooked the Zip drive and now Nero loads with no problem. What causes this?

Thanks for your help!

i'm guessing that nero is trying to detect the zip as a drive like it does your cdrom and burners... and of course the zip isn't and it has problems doing that...
i would just suggest trying to update nero...
(and the best thing you can do is throw out the internal zip and get a usb one... fixed so many probs for me... but that is kinda extreme...)
