Ok. Just updated from OEM 5.0.3.5 to 5.5.2.3
Nero 5.0 worked fine, but this new version doesn't.
I get a message to the tune of "Under Windows NT/2000 Nero needs burning rights to access CDRW/DVD drives. Please contact your administrator to enable burning rights"
This is my home machine and I'm the admin. What the heck do I need to do to get Nero the "rights"?
Does this have anything to do with the NeroCheck program I see running at startup?
Edit:
They explain it a bit in their help section and say that 1) you should be prompted during Install about what user groups should be able to use Nero (which didn't happen), and 2) if this needs to be changed you can go to File->Preferences and access the Security tab (which doesn't appear in my dialog box).
I've tried the update install logged in as both Administrator and myself (who has Admin rights). Same result either way.
