Nero Installation Issues

Trying to install Nero 8.0 on Vista 64bit but the setup keeps on crashing for weired reasons. The messages ays the feature I am trying to us is unavailable . is there a way to post a screenshot of the error message in the post also.

are you getting error when you try to start nero smart start?

There are a lot of problems with Nero 8 installing on Vista. I suggest you read the Nero forums for help on this.

I have Nero 7 Ultra, what a bloated piece of shit. Currently looking for something to replace it.

Yes error happens after the setup starts copying the file to my pc.

did you use nero clean tool from nero website if going from nero 7 to 8?

error: "Warning: GetConfigSet() failed! - (line: 260, file.\NSSModel.cpp)" has nothing to do with the Nero 8 installation. It is related to a faulty installation of the MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (Microsoft XML Core Service) on the system. It can be can be resolved by installing MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 and Security Update (KB936181) available from the MS knowledgebase website

that is what i had to do to get nero 8 to run on vista ultimate 64 bit

yes I used nero removal I am not getting warning failed message
