Nero InCD

I have not used this function for quite a while, because it caused x64 to crash. But I have an old disk that I made some time ago on XP x32. I forgot what's even on it, so I tried to read it on my MCE installation. Although I installed both InCD and the reader, it doesn't do anything when I run the disk. The InCD icon is on the system tray, but I started looking for a way to manually open the reader and found nothing. Windows Explorer doesn't see anything on the disk either, but I think that is to be expected. Is the reader simply an automatic function, or is there something that I should do myself?
