Go through the check out process. If they ask you to buy hardware with it, which they won't, don't!

yeah, but if it's an OEM version it will work only on the hardware it was meant to be sold with. compatibility with other hardware is spotty at best.

I bought this from them some months ago. It is works with any DVD burner. Only downside is it doesnt have the true Nero Burning Rom, only Nero Express.

Bought it as well.

I don't consider the lack of nero burning rom and its drop&drag much a downside tho, Express is fine for me.

One of the reasons to have the full "Nero Burning ROM" is to create slipstreamed windows CDs with the appropriate boot sector (using ISO buster).

This saves a heap of time when you rebuild your system. I slipstreamed service pack two into a WinXP CD and it cuts down the update time dramatically. I had nero express and ended up having to buy another version (OEM suite 1 I think) to get "burning ROM".

This has everything that Suite 1 has and more as you can see at the bottom of the page on the link. This is Suite 3.

I had Nero Suite 3 and downloaded the updates from Nero website to have the complete suite. I can create bootable CD/DVD just fine.

I don't know of a better software for this, and a lot of other ones I tried were junk Trial editions, freeware, shwareware, components missing, all POS compared to Nero.

I want to try nero recode but I realized you need the full retail pack. My nero OEM suite dissapoints me.

That's not even close to being true.

According to the feature table on the page linked by OP, Recode is included in Nero 6 OEM Suite 3.
