Nero 5.5.5.1 + WinXP = CD-Recorder undetected?

How come mine didn't get detected right off the bat? I thought Windows XP supports Nero 5.5? I opened my windows\system32 folder, and the wnaspi32.dll wasn't in the folder. I copied it from the program files\nero\nero folder, and rebooted, and my recorder was recognized. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a HP CD-Writer 9150i.

Not really a problem, but I just want to know if I'm the only one. I'm gonna try to burn a CD right now, and I'll be sure to post back.
 
I don't use XP for burning. But I heard a lot of complaint about incompatbility between XP and burning software.

Does the builtin burning function work?

Is this another step M$ take to integrate more and more and then force the use to switch to the builtin function. I just found out that XP has builtin remote admin tools. I never tried. But I presume its target is VNC-like.
