I am a SAN/WAN/NAS/CAS instructor and almost all my students are men and serious geeks.

I had a female student for the last 8 weeks and she came in today with a shirt that had a picture 2 ruby red slippers and the phrase " There is no place like 127.0.0.1"

:)

I used to run a comic book store and had a couple of regular female collectors. They were just as nerdy as the men, and me... for what it's worth.

Nerdy chicks are pretty cool to be around sometimes. I actually went to Atlantic City on a date with one who ending up pushing a 4.0 at our college. Aside from having an awesome rack and a cute face she was also pretty outgoing outside of class, I don't even remember talking about anything nerdy lol.

You don't deserve it if you can't figure it out from the link posted earlier in this thread.

how does a stupid tshirt make her nerd?

a) she's taking a network storage class
b) she apparently knows what 127.0.0.1 means
c) i have no third observation.

how does any of that make her a nerd?
