So my daughter is 5 and I've been trying to figure out some good Dad & Daughter things that aren't Barbies, TV, Candyland (please shoot me), or a host of other things that we've done a billion times.
I recently started getting into the miniature painting hobby to spice up some of the minis that have come in the board games I own.
My daughter really took a shine to the little characters and knows all of them by name now, which are good, which are bad, ect. And she loves arts and craft time at school.
So I figured, what the heck, I'll see what she can do. So, I've put her to task in helping me paint up some of the mini's that came with some D&D board games I own.
A few days ago she was just helping me measure out and mix up the washes. Helping make some executive decision on color choices (although I hold executive veto power over pink & purple 😀).
But yesterday I started letting her do even more. I taught her how to drybrush and set up her brush and palette for these gargoyles. Other than the red eyes she did all the painting, drybrushing and shade washing. Turned out pretty awesome.

More work from yesterday - her gargoyles. I did the other two dragons but she did the shade wash after I was done.
