It's selling like crazy though...got the last copy at Best Buy over lunch. Guess I'm not the only 40 yr old nerd around. I'll watch anything DC puts out that has Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly doing Batman and Superman's voices. Nobody else seems to get it right.

The reviews are saying it's the best DC release so far. My copy had a little Flash figure in it. I have it next to Superman on my desk at work (Superman came with the last DC movie).
 
I'm in the middle of watching it now and

possible SPOILER ALERT

Is wonder woman a natural blonde? During her fight with cheetah, she can't possibly stop for a second and think logically about the situation? Hmm there can't really be that many cheetahs and she is AWARE that she was poisoned by cheetah yet still fights everyone. In the beginning the first time she saw multiple cheetahs they were all talking in their OWN voice. Why didn't she just run (or fly) the hell away knowing she would just end up hurting innocent people? God damn she is so dumb.

Also how dumb are the villains? They had a chance to literally kill all the justice league members but instead half ass their jobs and get paid then celebrate like they actually completed the job. Bane had a chance to kill batman but instead left him alive in a casket, superman is killed by a single kryptonite bullet, right and wonder woman is a moron and would die from spazzing out as i mentioned.. oh and worst of all green lantern is an emo cry baby loser, whatever her name is didn't even kill him or take his ring away.. etc etc.. really shitty writing. Make the villains and heroes look equally moronic.

SPOILERS

and superman holding back and playing around with metallo almost got billions killed. after the rocket/missile launches he decides it's time to be serious and takes out metallo with no effort.
 
OK, watched it...it was really good 😀 My only complaints are it seemed a bit hurried (like they cut some parts out---maybe the studio said "This as to be under 80 minutes are we're not releasing it!), and the way Superman was drawn (I like him with a giant clift chin and super buff. He seemed like we was based on Brandon Routh).

Conroy pulled off Batman flawlessly again, and they finally made the Flash look powerful instead of like the team's comedy relief (they seem to have given that role to Green Lantern for some reason). It was a great story and very well done. Other than some minor annoyances (Everyone' powers except for GL seemed a little gimped, being able to talk in space, one person being able to hold back a solar flare that would wipe out the planet, etc...) I really liked it.

I usually buy these movies to support the studio making them so they'll KEEP making them. I have $17 of disposable income Mr. Cheepo.
 
The one thing that I had a issue was didn't they say the solar flare would be traveling at the speed of light and superman was able to out fly it easily yet he was unable to catch up to a few of the missiles in time.

Otherwise was decent but like others said they needed to make the evil characters do a lot better.

They mentioned something about the scarecrows fear gas infecting him also to cause him to act like it but it was a weak way to try to take him down.

i guess if you want to be technical, doesnt the GL surround him in an outline of green armor? given that, how did the gas get through? unless scarecrow gas is yellow?

heh why do the superheros always face off 1 on 1 against their arch enemies?
ie: shouldnt batman (ultimate planner) have sent superman to take out the rocket/doom and everyone else just keep the bad guys busy?

still, i like the extended comics. they're interesting way to pass some time.

I don't think his "shield" was up at all times in the movie while in the cave like it is when he is fighting.

Yeah this one stood out at me.

Superman is able to travel faster than light, same w/ GL.

One minute he's destroying missiles at the sun. Next he's back on Earth and says the solar flare, which travels at the speed of light, will be here in 7 min.

WTF?
