We aren't doing anything badly, we're just quietly refusing to interact with people who's views are repugnant to us, personally I think area buiness closing is good to, shows we are not hypocrits who would shun them socially but gladly take their money.

I think that is fantastic. Not only do they show that they don't like the crap their chanting they refuse to even do business with them. I would go out of my way to do business with a merchant who shows these kinds of business ethics.

I agree 100 %. I usually shop in the next town over (I'm a ferngi and prices are lower there) but made it a point to do all my shopping this evening locally.

hmmm... because a group can't be held responsible for the actions of one of its members, except to the extent that there was a conspiracy within the group to commit a particular violent act?

Do police arrest you if your brother robs a store? Only if you can be shown to have helped plan or commit the crime. Even if you had previously stated a desire to rob that store, you cannot be held responsible if you did nothing to help your brother rob it, and you also knew nothing about the robbery before it occurred. That's the burden of the law. We can't go shutting down Mosques because of 9/11. "Guilty by association" doesn't fly in this country.

I didn't go, I followed the wishes of my family and stayed home, I don't think anything happened,they came and went without much notice from anybody.

yes, the Matt Hale character lives in East Peoria. He was on the chicago news many times after a member of his "church" went on a shooting spree. Among the people he killed, one of them was pretty well know, by the name of Byrd or Byrdsong or something.
