lol. whatever.

Your man Kerry is supposed to be neck and neck with Bush, so why all the hostility? Must be an attempt to get him over the top?

Neolibs is not a word. The fact that you think it is or that you think neolibs is a slur suggests you do not know what "neo" means. It's not just a character in the Matrix or a prefix you add to real words to form an insult. It means something! Neoconservatism is a movement. There are differences between traditional conservatives and neoconservatives. There is no such neoliberal movement.

Your post is also completely inconsistent. You decry whining but your post is really just a whine itself. You decry name-calling but you call other neolibs. Are you at least aware of the inconsistency?

Hey, Felix...why doesn't www.georgebush.com have any pictures of George Bush on it? Looks like a site for Kerry!

You are correct. These are good old fashioned card-carrying liberals we are talking about here. The liberal movement hasn't had any new ideas in 30 years.

If I were a betting man, I'd probably lay odds that I could match any examples you have with one from a right-leaning member.

Todays liberals certainly ARE NOT classical libs(early 1800s- mid 1900s).

People throwing around the term neocon are using it wrong, considering its classical definition.

Neo means new. I have advanced the English language by coining a phrase "neoliberal". Now please, adress the matter at hand more thoroughly and stop trying to derail this topic with your pyschobabble.

Classical liberalism is the belief in free market economics and very little interference from the state. I would compare this to modern day Libertarianism or Centrist Republicanism.

Today's liberals, however, believe in freedom and justice. Today's liberals believe it is their responsibility to help solve the shortcomings of our society. Today's liberals hopefully DO NOT SUPPORT PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKES. Today's liberals believe that there must be some sort of state structure in order to create a more humane society.

Classical Liberalism has failed. The free market has not solved society's problems.

Goerge Bush has failed. Neoconservatism has failed and in the course of doing so has caused the death of tens of thousands in the middle east.

Modern Liberalism holds the promise of a peaceful society with strong emphasis on PEACE AND PROSPERITY FOR ALL.

You, Felix, along with all the other neocons have failed, but there is still room for you on the Liberal train to the future. I invite all to hop on the peace train.

Except when it comes to holding one accountable for lying about receiving 'favors' in the oval office, among other things.

Yeah...lying about oral sex is SOOoooo comparable to lying about WMDs that sent 800 U.S. men and women to their deaths.

Yeah, typical AT P/N thread. Neocons try to make excuses and fight back when they KNOW their time is up...

Back to the usual rightwing whine- "But Clinton!"

Right after whining about getting a taste of their own invective. Can't take it? Then quit dishing it out. Terms like "commie-libs", "Saddam lovers", "terrorist sympathizers", and "collectivists" seem to get tossed around a lot in here, along with the "you people" routine...

Conservatives and Republicans are not all neo-conservatives. Also not ever conservative is a Republican.

Maybe that's what he meant by Neolibs? I'd classify myself as a neolibertarian :)

There's a big difference between using likely faulty information and making an outright lie about the WMD stockpile. As things stand, President Bush did nothing but the former.
