but CBS comedies are so, so bad.

Are not. Two and a Half Men gets me belly laughing every week. Charlie Sheen's man whore character comes so naturally to him----because he's PLAYING HIMSELF!

seriously?

that show is so terrible... its ratings and awards boggle my mind (see also: Everybody Loves Raymond).

when crap like that stays on the air and Arrested Development gets canceled, I weep for us.

Have you ever seen the show?

How I Met Your Mother is really fantastic. When Friends went off the air, this show was for me a natural, and fresher, take on the same basic situation comedy. Love this show.

NPH is great on HIMYM, but so are both Cobie Smulders and Alyson Hannigan. They could do the show without the Ted and Marshall characters and it would be better.

I was out drinking on Saturday and after one too many rum & cokes, decided to hook two of my friends up using Haaaaave... you met Ted? Worked both times!

NPH is what makes HIMYM enjoyable. I really don't like any of the other characters, except good 'ol Swarley.
