Is his wife going to be with him? she's Amanda Palmer from the Dresden Dolls.

Neverwhere is a decent story, either the miniseries or the book.

Do you watch Doctor Who?

Doctor Who S06E04 - The Doctor's Wife Doctor was written by him. It's a really good episode.

I dunno. He can certainly afford a hotel. I think it is just part of the tour - being out with the people. Intentional involvement with people add an antidote or complement to social media.

and how did this come about? he just stays at random people's houses? especially random people who aren't his fans?

this just makes no sense whatsoever

When I picked up the phone, American Gods, Good Omens, and Anansie Boys were all within 10 feet. I need to read the Sandman stuff. He also partly wrote the 2007 Beowulf movie.

And you're missing Stardust, which is actually a good movie. Haven't read the book, though.

I keep meaning to re-read American Gods.

yep, sounds like he's not afraid of getting kidnapped, held for ransom, or beaten up or worse by random strangers. OP, I'm going to call his agency to verify whether he sleeps with strangers.

I haven't read the book yet, either; but I am missing Stardust (the movie) because I loaned it out a couple of weeks ago ;). I'm missing Neverwhere (the miniseries), too, but I genuinely have no idea what happened to it. I probably loaned it out, and then forgot to whom.
