I dunno. He can certainly afford a hotel. I think it is just part of the tour - being out with the people. Intentional involvement with people add an antidote or complement to social media.

When I picked up the phone, American Gods, Good Omens, and Anansie Boys were all within 10 feet. I need to read the Sandman stuff. He also partly wrote the 2007 Beowulf movie.

And you're missing Stardust, which is actually a good movie. Haven't read the book, though.

yep, sounds like he's not afraid of getting kidnapped, held for ransom, or beaten up or worse by random strangers. OP, I'm going to call his agency to verify whether he sleeps with strangers.

I haven't read the book yet, either; but I am missing Stardust (the movie) because I loaned it out a couple of weeks ago . I'm missing Neverwhere (the miniseries), too, but I genuinely have no idea what happened to it. I probably loaned it out, and then forgot to whom.
