Neil deGrasse Tyson - We stopped dreaming video

He was good in his most recent The Daily Show interview.

I wish the current politicians in office has that same kind of passion.

This, or at least the beginning, is his Daily Show interview with music/different video. Great interview. I love NDT, he's so passionate about what he does, and he's got some great ideas that he conveys very effectively. Unfortunate he doesn't have more pull.

Whoa, posted same thoughts as me.

He was great on Bill Mahar as well.

The man personifies all that is great about our education system. He teaches me something every time I listen.

I like when he seriously starts going on a rant he looks down, doesn't make eye contact, and starts ripping people a new asshole about science. And he always has that 'im a fucking scientist' look on his face.

He is pretty awesome. Check out the nerdist podcast with him.

I actually got interviewed by him for a PBS documentary on space elevators that I don't think ever got aired. He was pretty awesome though.

Neil deGrasse Tyson, or Richard Feynman - I'd be ok with either one of them having my babies.

I will say this - Tyson's helped sway me more in support of manned space travel. It's not terribly practical by itself, since robots are a lot better-suited for that type of work, but the big projects are definitely good PR to gently remind people that math, science, and engineering can actually be fun, interesting, and worthwhile.

Is it just me or had Neil deGrasse Tyson been blowing up on the internet lately? I've been seeing him all over facebook, forums, the last week. I hope so, because America NEEDS to listen to guys like him

Seems like it. I've been watching his Nova ScienceNow series on PBS for a long time, he's always had that charismatic side to him, especially during his 'cosmic perspective' segments.

+10. The sad thing is that his message will politicized and will be branded as a minority, fringe view. I wish we had more people in the public spotlight that are as eloquent and smart as Neil.

I love him. wood.

Unfortunately, we live in the time of the corporate sow. There's nothing you can do.

We have to go through these times, and wait for the upper crust to dissolve. It's the only choice that's available.
