WTF!!! They dropped off the lumber for my neighbor's deck he's having built... the dumbsh!t in the truck just drove up right across my damn lawn so he didn't have to carry all the lumber from the street to the back yard!

Um... do we need to tell you to contact them and make them pay? They are responsible for it. Take pics ASAP for proof. Ask your neighbors if they saw it too.

This sounds like something for Judge Judy. Make sure you bring pictures of the lawn to court!

Nah, don't fault the neighbor for the mistakes of the lumber company. Just take some pictures, call the lumber yard, and b!tch until you get some recompense.

It's not too bad... but they will be at least planting seed for me... thank god the ground is dry as a bone or the truck would have left some massive tire tracks.

it's not your neighbor's fault.. just get the name of the lumber company, and have them pay for a new lawn.. if they refuse, sue them.. make sure to take pictures immediately

Yeah we just had a new house built next door. It was like my backyard and front was under attack :|

Builders walked all over my backyard, leaving cement foot prints all over the place, walking directly on plants (not even taking the effort to walk over them), leaving paint everywhere, cemented some of my hose (they were using it), and left cement all over my front lawn.

Fsckers. I was going to fscking beat down the next worker on my property with my beat down stuck :|

Edit: oh yeah, one of the painters took one of our chairs to use, and didn't return it. We found it in a pile of rocks, covered in paint and cement :|

Doesn't that piss you off when people have no respect for your property? The kids on the other side of my house are constantly running back and forth through my back yard because they have a fence, and it's easier for them to go around the fence than open the gate. I don't blame the kids for that, they're young and don't know any better... I blame the parents for not teaching them. PLUS... the idiot parents put one of those free standing basketball hoops up... with the back facing my property, 6 feet away from my property... and ya know, when you got 5 and 6 year old kids playing basketball, they completely miss the backboard sometimes... so the grass is trampled down and dying behind the basketball hoop.
It's crap like this that makes we want to live in an apartment. But I guess there's downsides to that too, like neighbors above that stomp when they walk.

You know what? I'll bet your neighbor is the one who gave them permission to do it. The truck could just as easily have dropped the lumber in your neighbor's front yard for all they care. You would have to pay extra to have them hand carry it to the back. I bet if you call the lumber yard, they'll confirm that. Your neighbor probably told the driver, "Don't worry about it. He doesn't fuss about his yard at all. Just drive over the lawn!"

I remember back in the 70's they broke ground on the lot next to us. The workers didn't really start any trouble until their generator broke down. I remember coming home and seeing a bright orange extension cord running across the backyard. It was plugged into a pole next to our pool. I knew this was on an isolated circuit so I pull the cover off the panel and remove the neutral and connect it to the other hot bar. Funny thing was the next day there was a big ghetto blaster in their dumpster. I pulled it out...yep it was smoked big time! I never had any more problems after that.

I had neighbors that allowed their dogs to poop all over the grass. Somedays I'd comeback and see like 6 piles of crap on the lawn, moist, smelly, and covered in flies.

Yea!

We're building a new house and I'm not real fond of the neighbors. I can only hope my builders do that to them.

You can see that all the way from the library?

Get pictures NOW! In at least one of the picutures, hold up today's newspaper to the side so you can get the date.

That way if you decide to sue you would have evidence. Even if you don't sue it would be good to have those pictures just in case.
