Ok seems a few people are curious, so I'll post why I asked.

I am definitely going on pure opinion based on what I've noticed around my area, but it seems to me that Democrats lean towards the "something-for-nothing, I deserve it even if I didn't work for it" programs/treatment far more than republicans.

That may not be correct and I'm not closed-minded about it. It just seems that way to me.

my health insurance plan, the cheapest one offered by my employer was $414 per month, it just went up to $460 per month and it's projected to go up yet again another 15% shortly.My wages are not increasing at anywhere near that rate. HOW is the insurance so PRICEY?!

What sort of service do you get for all of that money? What sort of stuff does it include? Eye care? Teeth? Or only health care like when your ill or need an op?

I'm in England so am not so clued on what the American system provides for all of that £££.

We pay taxes at 22% for the first £30k (first £4.5k is tax free) then 40% for anything after £30k. I could go break my legs serveral times and the NHS would pay for it. I may have to wait a somewhat long time unless it is an emergency but they'll pay for it 😛
