So these new neighbors moved in and are renting the house right next door as of about 3 months ago.
They apparently operate a taxi company out of the house.
They come and go at all hours of the night, which is understandable being that it is a taxi company.
However for the past couple months, at least 2 to 3 times a week some Asshat drives up early in the am
and sits there in their car laying on the horn every 10 seconds to wake someone inside up.
This goes on for sometimes up to an hour and the last time it started at 6am. My neighbor in front finally had to yell "Shut the fvck up!!!!!! and use the dam phone!!!!!"
Well today it started at 9am and I was trying to get some much needed sleep, so I was rudely awoken by this
and got really pissed off.
I waited for about an hour and cooled off, and then called the number off one of the cabs.
Got one of their drivers, asked for the owners, he gave me a number to call....called it and it was a disconnected number. Called him back, and told him wtf? wrong number? and to have them call me.
Two hours later, the owner calls....sounds like he just woke up and its like 1pm. I explained very politely that I was the neighbor right next door, and that someone has been coming to their house and laying on the horn like that several times a week and that it is just not acceptable. I asked him to please talk to this person, and also asked him if this person was not aware of something called a PHONE or had ever tried KNOCKING on their door instead of laying on the horn?? Throughout this entire conversation, I was very decent and nice about it.
He wasn't very nice about it, never even apologized or anything, and simply said he would talk to this person. Perhaps he's just as much of an ASShat as the horn loving person in the car?
My neighbor in the front of me has also complained about it and we have discussed what we should do.
I work very late at night, and thus sleep late, but no matter what hour of the day it occurs, this is ridiculous and unnaceptable.

So the day goes by, and I'm sitting here on AT hanging out, and I hear a LOUD and LONG horn next door. Just one time, but it was obvious that it was done intentionally.
WTF?
What can I do? I tried talking to them nicely....now this?
If this goes on, they are asking for a little visit from the police or maybe the realtor in charge of the property.

1) Neighbors friend comes over and loves using their horn as an alarm every 10 seconds for an hour
instead of the doorbell or the phone in advance.
2) Get woken up by it AGAIN after putting up w/ this Sh!t for weeks!
3) Call and talk to the owners/neighbors to politely ask him to talk to this person and advise them of the existence of doorbells, knocking and telephones.
4) Get NO apology and he acts like he could really care less, except for saying he'll talk to them.
5) Day goes by and they lay a long LOUD hand on the horn unnecessarily and obviously intentionally as if
to say F-YOU
