being vocal during sex/love making is part of the whole experience. i think its so much better as all your senses are used! i do try to be aware of neighbors since we are in an apt... i am just waiting to move into a house

We once had a neighbor come to our door and demand we stop making so much noise. Who knew moving the bed from one side of the room to other and then back would disturb the family living under us.

only within the context of being good neighbors in general.

I don't care how much noise my downstairs neighbors are making or what's making the noise as long as it's not going on when I'm trying to sleep (ie: in the middle of the night). plus, my bedroom is above their living room, so I've never had to deal with sex noises... really loud techno/trance music at 9 am is a pretty common occurance, though :| usually I'll retaliate by blasting some gay porn later in the afternoon. doesn't make the techno stop, but it at least provides me some ammusement :)

Ah my roommate from my 1st year dorm in Uni would do the nasty with his g/f and the room was only like 16 x 16.

That's not very big when someone else is in the room. Voices aren't the sounds you're worrying about... *squish squish* ahHAHAHa

Oh. My. God.

Exactly the same thing with my roommate from my first year of University.
That's just weird.

Oh, and not nice to hear

You should go stand right over his bed and shout words of encouragement to him while he's doing her. Like "Go Ben Go!", "Show her who's the boss" or "You da man!" It would be even better if you were drunk and holding a beer!

Do this everytime he brings someone home and I bet he stops. :D

Heh, I like this idea! While you're at it, make sure to compliment her on her "performance" the next time you see her leaving the apartment. You can bet that will shame her into being quieter next time!

Geez.... At least the gay guy who lived in the apartment above me in New York was thoughtful enough to put on some music when he was getting it on with someone. Those are some noises that I did NOT want to hear! As it was, there were a few times that I needed to pound on the ceiling so he'd turn down that sappy country love songs that he was into... :disgust:

my neighbor did the same thing at VA Tech. (Pritchard)

That bitch was loud. I just bang on the wall and she stop. Sometime she just ignored me, so i bang on the door. (UPS)

You've never pleased a woman quite right then. We can keep it down, but if you hit the woman in just the right spots, you WILL make her loud.

Well, you're right, but what can ya do? ;) I guess I will live a life filled with noiseless sex :D

Heh, maybe I should have done, but it was a few years ago now ;)

It is usually the girl who makes the noise...so that would be understandable... :)

Yep, had a girlfriend like that for awhile. Vividly remember one time with the window wide open -- probably audible for two blocks (seriously!).

Shhh, don't tell the wife...

Ever try to sleep when two people are having sex in the same room as you? It's just not possible, no matter how quiet they are.

It doesn't bother me.

The weekend we moved into our new apartment we accidentally left the glass sliding door wide open while other people were moving in and were coming in and out of the complex.

The guy in the dorm room next to me in college often woke up to his neighbor on the other side having sex.

The bad part was that a 300 pound black girl that liked to scream out all the things you hear on rap songs while doing it. "OH.. RUN IT IN THE HOLE... RUN IT IN THE HOLE.." ... no joke.

The annoying thing was that he couldn't do anything about it because she would always do it after quiet hours were over. Hahaha.

I had a friend of mine [not a great friend] stay out at my cabin on Canada Day last year (everyone else went home) and the guy is such a clown. Not only does the guy stare at my GF's tits the whole night, at the end of the night when we had gone to bed, I was doing it with my girlfriend and heard my friend bang into the couch while he was watching us from outside the room (just a curtain over the door entrance)... what a stupid fsck.

This kid is a serious loser.

Yeah... it isn't one of my fonder memories. However one of the funniest things ever from that year stemmed from the two of them screwing (I wasn't there this time, TG). Our room was on the 9th floor. Well one day she decided to perform the "cleanup-free" finish for him if you know what I mean - and apparently she had already had her fill of protein that day... She stuck her head out the window to "dispose" of what she had in her mouth. I don't know if there was a slight breeze that day or what , but the window on the 6th floor got PWNED by a 2-foot long white crusty streak which remained there for months, hardened by the elements. It was great for him to be able to see his "trophy" from quite a ways away from the residence. We never did get to find out whose view of the campus got obscured by that streak of white lightning.

Unfortunately, I've had the mispleasure of experiencing that numerous times.
My I was dating a girl that had a twin sister, who just to happened to be dating my friend. Well, they both sleep in the same room, and they sleep in bunk beds. My ex-girlfriend's is on the top. Many times, I'd be trying to watch TV or fall asleep and they would be going at it, and not very quietly either. And sinde they were on the bottom, we couldn't leave the room or anything. Although, the good thing is, I didn't have to see it, but due to the ligting situation, at night they could see us quite well in the reflection on the window. So, retaliation-sex was never an option for us, as it was usually uncomfotable not enticing by having an audience.
