Fine... I edited my comments...
It just galls me when you link to something that is crap when there is a lot better info out there, and closer to home....
Same here. I tend to follow Fud and the Inq pretty closely. Despite the shocking lack of professionalism on Charlie's part and his clear hate for NV, and Fud's inability to write with proper grammar and spelling, both sites often have scoops before anyone else. And they actually get the story right a surprising amount of the time.Originally posted by: Idontcare
As an example of prior prejudice being disavowed I will admit that it was only because of this forum's consistent linkage to FUDzilla that I actually now routinely visit their site after having seen a number of high-profile articles bare some truth (10% AMD layoffs...).
In these past 6 months the FUD's credibility has markedly risen (IMO). TH not so much.

I think that what he ment was why was the ES only 2.93ghz instead of 3.2ghz which according to Tom's is the highest available freq.

3DMarks 12786
SM2.0 score 4605
HDR/SM3.0 score 5600

PCMark 05 Score
PCMark 9852

Thats a stock neha. And stock neha chases my 3.6 yorkfield.
3.0 AMD will not get anywhere close to a 3.6ghz yorkie.

Guys AMD is crap if your looking for performance. Im sorry i tried really hard. But there CRAP.
Get an Intel if your looking for performance, AMD if your looking for green.
I have owned both platforms, and the AMD rig looked really SAD in comparision with my with kentsfield and yorkie rigs.
This is my 2 cents.
I believe fugger said it best:
Phenom + BS = Smooth.

I'm confused, how come I can get 13K on 3ghz Q66 & 9600GT, yet 3hz Nehalem and 4850 get less?
