It might not be the limiting factor when OCing. Don't forget the HT bus. Thankfully, AMD has HT multipliers that can be reduced. We don't know if the Nehalem and the chipset it's paired with has the same capability yet. If it doesn't, then the QPI bus might be the limiting factor, once it goes out of spec.
