I recommend you read the posts, yet again they post as fast as they can, knowing the lock will come down

Neffing is not funny anymore. It's just downright annoying and makes this place look cheezy.

I wish I wouldn't have contributed to it so much when I was doing it. It only pisses me off even more :|
 
I agree. How can someone average over 55 posts a day for more than a month and not have something said to him (as in AnAngryMuffin). Look at his posts. Nothing that I've seen has been anywhere near quality. You can't get 2000 posts in a month with quality posts.

The 3 main ones in the thread knew what they were doing and realized it would be locked. The neffing has gotten really bad lately and it really pisses me off. :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :|
 
I tell you, if I was a moderator, a few of those people would be finding out really quickly that their privilages of posting were taken away...

Neffing isn't funny anymore, it's just ment to be pricklike IMHO. Yes, I may be a hypocrite because I used to do it, but believe me, I've paid the price.
 
I know you posted a lot ( a LOT ) Paulson, but I don't think you were a nef in the same sense as the current rendition. I could be wrong though, lol.

It's a nice gesture Paulson but how much effect can you have?
The Mod's are the only one's who can influence whether their going to nef.
I suggested to a few of them before that they might consider toning it down slightly and I was merely told to &quot;F-Off&quot; so I'm not inclined to think they have any intention of stopping.
 
Sometimes, you gotta fight neffing, with.... me.

I'm going to PM the moderator, and come up with a devious plan.

If the moderators agree, then perhaps it may work out.

I have my hopes that even a warning might be enough to make them tone it down slightly and realize there are limits to what one can post on AT.

BTW... I will never get used to the site of 'Elite' by my name, it looks so bizarre and out of place.
Though mildly flattering also.
 
Basically my plan would be to post a thread about keeping the neffing down to a minimum or just not allowing it at all...

The participants of the thread that didn't try to nef or be stupid, would not have anything done, but the violaters would get a 1 week ban to &quot;think&quot; about what they've done and have been doing...

But, I rethought that out, and I never did send the idea to the mods, because I'd get a nice no for my efforts 🙂

Anyways, since that wont work, I guess it's just try to fend them off somehow. I haven't seen much of it going on at the moment, but I'll have to keep a watchful eye out...
 
I sent a PM to the mods last night right before I went to bed about a few people giving examples of the neffing specifically pointing out a few people. No word back yet (I'm not really expecting a response though).
