Within the last month, I've been warned by two separate forums that I frequent (along with AT) about my posting habits. After being an AT member for almost a year, I'm so used to making short posts like, "Wow, impressive," or, "Are you sure?" that I'm beginning to make them in other smaller, slower moving forums. Now I really don't care about my post count in these other forums, but I'm so damn used to making quick, thoughtless posts that it's really getting to me.

Recently received PM from a mod at a different forum:
"I've sent you this PM because I've noticed that you've made some posts which are not exactly useful, and would like you to change for the better. Please read through it carefully.

[Long, 4 paragraph body section]

* Example of useless comments include, but are not limited to, 'cool', 'oh', 'wow', and other one-word or short phrase posts that do not improve the contents of the thread."

after visiting other forums (qaforums) to be exact, i've noticed that the AT community is infinitely better in what can and cannot be posted

what an asshole mod. you already took the time to join and post on his forums, you don't have an obligation to post "useful" comments.
