Needing MicroATX Cooling Solution

After my previous post concerning cooling solutions for a MicroAXT Gigabyte EG43M-S2H. I have somewhat narrowed down my choices to the two coolers listed below. They both meet the height requirements and have retention screw mounting hardware. After measuring the motherboard I have 4 1/2" from the Northbridge heatsink to the edge of the mobo. I am still uncertain if each cooler will clear the components on the mobo. The Masscool 8WA741 has a smaller footprint but I don't know if there is enough height from the chip to the bottom heatsink fins. The ASUS V60 has a larger footprint and seems to have the height from the chip to bottom heatsink fins, but I an worried the heatpipes will interfere with the Northbridge heatsink. If anyone has experience with these two heatsinks or the Gigabyte EG43M-S2H board I would like to hear them. I am also open to other suggestions.

Why does it matter if the bottom-edge of CPU heatsink fins overlap the upper edge of the motherboard?

What sort of computer-case are you using? Apparently the height of the cooler is not your major concern. If you can fit a cooler with height of ~150mm in your case, just about all the top-end coolers I know of will clear the components on that motherboard -- including the NB heatsink -- which is a standard design for these boards and not a problem.

If the case is so small that the heatsink butts up against the bottom side of the PSU, you can re-orient the cooler so that it faces the PSU (for coolers like the TRUE, Noctua-NH-U12P, Megahalem, etc.).

How much clearance do you have between the upper edge of the motherboard and the bottom of your PSU (or in cases with bottom-mounted PSUs -- the top of the case)?
