Needing help aligning HIDs

Looks like he put HIDs in halogen reflectors. So, basically it's impossible to improve the pattern without retrofitting projectors. Or, if that generation Camry had HIDs available in a different trim level get those headlights and swap them.

Appears to have a distinct cut off a projector would give, but considerable light bleed. My best guess is HIDs in halogen projectors. HIDs have a different focal point and are likely positioned in the projector housing different than halogen. Check out hidplanet for more info. The good thing is if you do have projector housings, it is much easier to swap to a HID projector.

So it appears to have OEM halogen projectors. Usually those are pretty decent for an HID upgrade but I guess not in this case. There's not much you can do short of replacing the projector with one designed for an HID. I would suggest ditching the HID kit and buying some better halogen bulbs like Osram NightBreakers or something.

I was looking on Toyota Nation and it seems like everyone is using the stock housing
HID capsules make the light differently than halogen and in a different location. the housings were designed around halogen bulbs and won't make a proper cutoff using a HID capsule.

swap out the halogen projectors for some HID projectors.
